DCS is an owner operated company. Our management team is made up of professionals that have over 75 years experience in transportation, customer service and team building. We have worked at LAX in baggage storage and delivery related services since 2000.
Airline executives are constantly challenged by inconsistent service levels from lost baggage operators that are not supported by modern technology. DCS was formed after extensive due diligence that clearly revealed a challenge and opportunity to "FIX" the lost baggage business. We believe that we "CAN" change the perception and eliminate the inconsistencies of this segment of air travel. Airline Executive's recognize that by utilizing common new technology like tracking and tracing systems and having a customer friendly uniformed staff that is fully accountable, DCS will soon change the perception of this industry.
Tracking and Tracing:
DCS tracking and tracing will be done in real-time with wireless devices. DCS drivers will log entries for each baggage delivery order "BDO" to provide an audit trail for each and every bag that we handle. This information is updated immediately in the DCS core logistics system. DCS will immediately contact the airline in the event of any emergency or operational exception that would prevent on-time delivery of baggage to the passenger and take appropriate action.
Global Positioning:
With GPS on every van and driver routes in our system for every single delivery, DCS can pinpoint, in real time, the exact whereabouts of its couriers and the passenger's baggage. With pre-planned routes and schedules, couriers will not have the opportunity to stray from their designated route.
DCS will leverage a trained and accountable customer staff supported by handheld wireless devices, internet technology and our dedicated staff members.
